Your DMCA Notice Must Include the Following Information:
- Authorized Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
- Description of the Copyrighted Material: A detailed description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, including any registration numbers or other identifying information.
- Identification of Infringing Content: Specific details of the material you claim is infringing, including URLs or other precise locations on our platform.
- Statement of Good Faith: A declaration under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.
- Accuracy Declaration: A statement affirming that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your Contact Details: Full name, address, telephone number, and email address where we can reach you for further communication.
Once your valid DMCA notice is received, we will promptly investigate the claim and, if necessary, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. The user responsible for the content will be notified and given an opportunity to submit a counter-notification.
Counter-Notification Requirements:
- Identification of the removed content and its location prior to removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the user believes the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
- The user’s full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court.
- The user’s signature.
If legal action is not taken within 10-14 business days after receiving a counter-notification, the content may be restored.
